Panther Rants is The Onion of Pitt Sports. Formerly a serious recruiting blog written by a serious recruiting writer, the site was taken over by mediocre bloggers that provide satire, sarcasm and anything but serious information. Everything on this site is tongue-in-cheek and is not meant for serious consumption.

The Butt Rock Strikes Back!

Butt Rock Friday returns after a long hiatus. The author of this article feels it's good to run this series whenever he feels like because he probably would have run out of videos by now.

Which brings us back to 1988. Some couldn't do addition or subtraction, but they could scribble enough hair band artwork that would make Andy Warhol shake his head. Some also spent their times with their "jean jackets" deciding if they should go with the big Def Leppard patch on the back or the Guns 'N' Roses one. Then you threw in some more patches of other hair bands. It was important back in those times. You had to represent. No day during the summer of 1988 was complete without waking up, turning on MTV, and seeing this video.

Twenty years later, no weekend at the bar is complete without this song, and many others being played, where people scream this at the top of their lungs.
